Jesus himself recognised how important it is to look after, nurture and encourage children as they grow and develop. It is important to teach children and young people about Jesus, and what it means to believe and follow Him.
We have a range of organisations which are aimed at supporting and teaching children about Jesus, the Bible and what it means to be a Christian, in a fun and interactive way. On Sundays we have KidZone, Mini Zone, TeenZone and Creche. Throughout the week there is also Go Boys, Girls’ Brigade and Mothers and Toddlers Group.
At school holiday times we also put together a Holiday Bible Club, called Take 5. This is an action packed time of fun, games and Bible stories.
Life as a teenager can provide some of the most exciting, but also challenging times of life’s journey. You are discovering who you are, you have so many new experiences and life changes, there are pressures with school and what to do in the future, and family life itself can also be a bit of a roller-coaster ride!
It’s important therefore to get to know others who are at the same stage in life as you, and to learn from those who have more life experience and can help guide and encourage you. We have a range of activities geared for young people which help with these things. As well as Youth Club, Girls’ Brigade and TeenZone, there is alsoR.O.C. and I.D. - great opportunities for young people to get together on a Sunday night, and in a relaxed environment, explore what it means to really believe and follow Jesus.
